My Kidney, My Choice: Exploring Treatment Options

This session helps participants understand kidney disease, when treatment may be needed, and how healthy kidneys function. Attendees will learn about all treatment options, including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, kidney transplant, and conservative (non-dialysis) care. The class focuses on comparing options based on lifestyle, goals, and personal values. Participants are encouraged to engage in shared decision-making with their healthcare team to choose the best path forward.
Slowing Down Kidney Disease

This educational kidney disease class focuses on understanding how medications and natural lifestyle strategies work together to slow the progression of chronic kidney disease (CKD). Participants will learn why certain medications are prescribed, how they protect kidney function, and the importance of controlling key risk factors such as blood pressure, blood sugar, and diet. The class empowers individuals with practical knowledge to take an active role in managing CKD and protecting long-term kidney health.
